The Manticore series of releases will begin in November 2009 with the release of a deluxe various artists compilation which details the history of the Manticore label and will include tracks by EMERSON, LAKE & PALMER, GREG LAKE & KEITH EMERSON, along with selections from the catalogue by PFM, KEITH CHRISTMAS, STRAY DOG, THEE IMAGE, PETE SINFIELD, HANSON and BANCO. Also gaining a newly remastered release in November is the album “STILL” by PETE SINFIELD, which features contributions from GREG LAKE, JOHN WETTON, IAN WALLIS and MEL COLLINS. The remainder of the Manticore catalogue will appear throughout 2010. Further announcements will follow.

This British neo progressive band was formed in London in 1990. Initially signing to a Dutch record company (SI Records) then forming their own label, Synergy Records, the band have firmly established themselves within the world of progressive rock, though their appeal extends beyond these boundaries to a more mainstream audience. Fronted by the excellent voice of award-winning vocalist Tracy Hitchings, Landmarq have played concerts in the UK, Holland, Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, the USA and Mexico; both as support and as headliners at various rock festivals. At some of these concerts the band worked with many well-known artists, including Marillion, John Wetton (ex-Asia, Roxy Music, etc.), Steve Hackett (ex-Genesis), Hugh McDowell (ELO), Nik Turner (Hawkwind), Annie Haslam (Renaissance), IQ, Arena and even Suzi Quatro plus many others.

Apart from making in-roads into Europe and America, Landmarq have also been invited to play in Scandinavia and South America. The band have reached further territories worldwide, as far afield as Russia, eastern Europe, the Far East, and Australia through various magazine/webzine articles, interviews and radio air-play, plus a number of compilation CDs released by various music magazines from around the world.

Landmarq’s next studio album is close to completion and the band look forward to its release as well as to playing a series of gigs in support of the new studio release. One significant landmark(!) for Landmarq will be in 2010 when the band will celebrate it’s 20th anniversary.

DeeExpus - this talented band from UK has so far released only one studio album entitled “Half Way Home” but with their superb performance at the first edition of Prog Rock Festival at the Wyspianski Theatre in Katowice, Poland, they proved that they do have much to say on the prog rock scene. DeeExpus’s music constitutes a modern approach to the genre, more rock-oriented and catchy, yet formed with undeniable finesse and attention to sound and musical nuances. Currently, DeeExpus is writing and recording the follow up to their debut album. The band has also recently undergone a lineup change with the position of the drummer now being filled by the very talented Henry Rogers, also known from the band “Final Conflict”.

Mirek Gil: “The guitar riff is the quintessence of this track. I think I do not have to add how important the riff was in the history of rock music. You know – Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and so on… It was the riff that showed the direction for the track “This Bread Is Mine”. I think it is a key element of this song.”

Believe promotes the new album “This Bread Is Mine” with the title track and the choice was not accidental. As the band says this track not only best represents the content of the album but it also emphasizes the possible breaking point in the band’s musical career.

Karol Wróblewski: “I do hope this track will let you feel the essence of yourself and will let you see all the elements that are shaping you. Just like I discovered them for myself co-writing this song. You need to discover yourself if these are bad or good elements”.

Oceans of Night is a heavy rock/metal band that synthesizes a diverse range of musical influences under the deceptively descriptive title of “ambient progressive rock”. As the enigmatic and mysterious name suggests, Oceans of Night forge a powerful, modern and dynamic musical experience that demands your undivided attention.

Consisting of musical mastermind Scott Mosher and vocal powerhouse Scott Oliva, the debut Oceans of Night CD, The Shadowheart Mirror, was released in June of 2009. Equal parts progressive metal and modern rock served with a distinct ambient flavor, The Shadowheart Mirror is a dark, haunting and cinematic musical statement that resonates with emotional impact.

Through the course of 4 CD’s, multi-instrumentalist Scott Mosher has bridged the worlds of progressive metal, melodic hard rock and ambient music to create an experimental yet complimentary style of ambient metal that is at once as subtle as it is powerful, aggressive as it is dynamic and timeless as it is modern. Syzygy just released their long awaited, and one of their most ambitious works to date, Realms of Eternity. The heartfelt and spiritually-themed Realms of Eternity deals with various aspects of the afterlife and mines emotionally rich terrain. The band most ably handled all vocals on previous releases but felt their latest required some added depth. Despite an exhaustive search they came up empty handed until Dena Henry - Artist Representative, suggested they audition seasoned session vet Mark Boals (Ted Nugent, Yngwie Malmsteen, Uli Jon Roth, Erik Norlander, et al).

Syzygy plans on having a CD release concert on Saturday August 1st at The Beachland Ballroom located in Cleveland, Ohio. Also appearing on August 1st will be Black Key Projekt and Gravity. Syzygy’s live performances will culminate with a special showcase appearance at Three Rivers Progressive Rock Festival (www.3rprogfest.com ) in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania (just outside Pittsburgh) on Sunday August 9th, 2009.
