Payne, who owned the Asia name before the original Asia reunion (Geoff Downes sold his right to the name to Payne for business reasons while they were in Asia together), was given the legal right to this specific name for the release of any live recordings while he was in the band for 15 years and for any future studio recordings. Confused yet with two Asia's?
