Jason Martz releases 12 new CDs

2007-02-06

Talk about making up for lost time. New York prog musician and composer Jasun Martz, who has released very few records through the years, will have 12 CDs released in one year- one new CD per month. He is known for his associations with Frank Zappa, Michael Jackson, Eddie Jobson, Ruth Underwood, Paul Whitehead, Mark Shreeve, Jean Dubuffet and and his Mellotron work. Many know of his classic (long sought after) THE PILLORY (with 40 musicians) and his newer THE PILLORY/THE BATTLE (with over 100 musicians), which is a blend of dark, symphonic prog, contemporary classical, noise, avant-garde and ambient sounds.
