News from Van der Graaf Generator: After a period of consideration and some exploratory rehearsal sessions over the summer, Hugh Banton, Guy Evans and Peter Hammill plan to move forward into the next phase of the group’s reunion. They expect to be doing shows in the first half of 2007 and also will record new material for possible release within the calendar year. Van der Graaf Generator is now a trio comprising three surviving members of the original 1968 lineup. David Jackson has not been a member of the group since November, 2005.
